Penaranda Diesel is a family-owned Peruvian company that sells spare parts for Volvo trucks and heavy machinery, both original and alternative. With 25 years of experience in the market, Penaranda Diesel has established itself as a leading company in its field, offering its customers quality products, low prices, permanent stock and fast delivery.
In September 2023, Penaranda Diesel had the opportunity to participate for the first time with its own stand at The Utility Expo fair, one of the most important in the construction industry in the United States, which took place from September 26 to 28 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville. This was the second time that Penaranda Diesel attended a fair in the United States, after its successful participation in the CONEXPO fair in March of the same year.
The Utility Expo fair is held every two years in Louisville, and attracts more than 19,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors from all over the world. The fair features the largest display of utility and construction equipment, products and services in North America.
At this fair, Penaranda Diesel was able to show the American public what it offers and how it relates to its suppliers, who are internationally recognized companies for their quality and innovation. Some of the suppliers that accompanied them at the fair were:
- Nordic Lights: Producer of high-quality LED lights for heavy machinery, which are OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) for brands such as CAT, Komatsu and others. Nordic Lights showed on their stand very interesting videos about how their headlights can withstand high temperatures, whether cold or hot, and how they do experiments to demonstrate their resistance to falls and blows.
- SLP: Swedish company specialized in plastic parts for Volvo trucks and heavy machinery, Volvo / Scania trucks and buses and Volvo Penta / Scania marine industry. SLP showed on their stand explanatory videos about the products they manufacture, the history of the company and the reasons why they are the best in their field.
- Volvo: Leading brand in the manufacture of trucks and heavy machinery, which offers original and alternative spare parts of high quality and durability. Volvo showed on their stand videos that compared the difference between the original and alternative filters, and how you save by buying original over alternative.
Penaranda Diesel not only exhibited its products and services, but also organized a fun game for the visitors of the fair. It consisted of throwing giant dice and getting prizes according to the result. The prizes ranged from t-shirts, caps and shirts, to free spare parts, filters and headlights. People had a lot of fun with the game, and took memories and gifts from Penaranda Diesel.
The biggest benefit that Penaranda Diesel obtained from the fair was to make itself known in the American market, which is very large and competitive. Penaranda Diesel knows that it has the best products at the best price and that it has fast delivery, but it also knows that the only reason why they don’t buy more from them is because they don’t know them. That is why their main objective is to make themselves known throughout the United States, and they made a lot of progress in that objective by participating in the fair.
The Utility Expo fair was a very positive experience for Penaranda Diesel, which allowed them to meet many very good companies in the construction, agriculture, mining and transportation sector. The fair also generated new business and expansion opportunities, and helped them get more happy customers who didn’t know they could get all these spare parts for such good prices and with such fast delivery.
