Nordic Lights received its third Caterpillar SQEP (Supplier Quality Excellence Program) gold certificate in January 2020.
This means that Nordic Lights meets the high standards set by Caterpillar in terms of quality, product documentation and delivery performance. To receive an SQEP certificate, the supplier’s performance is evaluated and a bronze, silver, gold or platinum certificate is awarded based on the outcome.
“We are very happy to receive our third gold certificate from CAT, as it is a concrete proof of our consistent high quality and reliability”, says Matti Leipälä, Operational Excellence Manager.
The basis of the SQEP program is a strategic partnership aimed at mutual development. Nordic Lights can boast a long history of cooperation with Caterpillar, and first obtained a bronze SQEP certificate in 2009. Nordic Lights was also the first work light supplier to reach the gold level.
